XoXo Gossip Girl

Stop. I know. 'Gossip Girl'? Really? Really???
Well sorrrrieeee it is my obsession and now (regretfully) my life. Because I have heard so much about it, I knew that it was worthy of a test for my T.V. watching eyes. "For SCIENCE!" was my thought. Now I really am sorry. Truly it is such a delight to sit down from an uneventful day and turn to the lives of Manhattan's elite. The cast beautifully portrays a mass of over privileged teenagers (nearly young adults) who continuously throw scandalous curveballs at each other. It is the essence of what a person both wants but does not want in life. Gossip Girl is set around 2007; but because of its brilliance, it is almost timeless. The clothes are on point, the sets are a socialites dream, and the cast is not filled with men that look about thirty. Even their lines still ring true today. Gossip Girl is worth your watch. I wish that I could sum it up better, however I know that I would ruin it. The next few posts will be inspired by this, so be prepared for genius in the form of teenaged angst (in the lightest way possible).

Grunge (for now) is Dead

It is a little late to be talking of spring cleaning. But alas, I never did follow schedules. The spring cleaning I speak of is closet related. The fall comprised of heavy, dull, lifeless clothing that merely hung upon our shoulders in the most unflattering of ways. We looked a little dirty as if we over spent our stay at Coachella before it even happened. Now came spring with its airy, beautiful creatures that inspired our personal closets. Still, those flannels were in our wardrobe with black as an ever-present color. Why must one torture her or himself? Grunge was gorgeous until it became ugly. So let us both clear our closets of past grungy trends until it comes back next winter. (It's good to be back btw)
